FDA Corrects Final Monograph for Over-the-Counter Skin Protectant Drug Products

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has corrected a technical error in its 2003 final monograph for over-the-counter skin protectant drug products, which established conditions for their safe and effective use and listed approved ingredients.
