FDA Partially Stays Final Monograph for OTC Antiperspirant Drug Products, Reopens Administrative Record

The FDA has partially stayed part of its final monograph for over-the-counter antiperspirant drug products, which established conditions for safe and effective use, and is reopening the administrative record to allow for comment and data on enhanced duration claims, following a citizen petition that questioned the agency's effectiveness testing guidelines.
