FDA Issues Final Regulation on Food Record Keeping to Combat Foodborne Illness

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued a final rule requiring food manufacturers, processors, and distributors to maintain records of food origin and movement, in order to help identify the source of foodborne illnesses and respond quickly to outbreaks.
