FDA Amends Food Additive Regulations to Permit High-Energy Neutron Inspection of Food Containers

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its regulations to allow the use of high-energy neutrons to inspect food containers, following a petition from Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC).
