Coast Guard Proposes Permanent Safety Zones for New York Fireworks Displays

The U.S. Coast Guard is proposing to establish five permanent safety zones for fireworks displays in various waterways around New York, in an effort to protect the maritime public from potential hazards, and has requested public input on the proposal.
