Temporary Drawbridge Closure for NYC Bridge Maintenance

The US Coast Guard has temporarily exempted the Metropolitan Avenue Bridge in New York City from its usual drawbridge operation regulations to allow for necessary maintenance, resulting in closures from July 26 to July 31, August 2 to August 7, and August 9 to August 14, 2004.
