DHS Extends H-1B Status for F and J Nonimmigrants

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will extend the status of certain F and J nonimmigrant students to H-1B nonimmigrants if their prospective employers submit timely requests for change of status by July 30, 2004, with an employment start date of October 1, 2004.
