Temporary Drawbridge Closure for NYC Bridge Maintenance

The US Coast Guard has temporarily exempted the Metropolitan Avenue Bridge in New York City from its usual drawbridge operation regulations to allow for necessary maintenance, resulting in the bridge being closed from August 16 to August 21 and August 23 to August 28, 2004.
