US-VISIT Program Expands, Adds New Ports of Entry, and Deletes Inadvertent Ones

The US Department of Homeland Security has expanded the United States Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator Technology Program (US-VISIT), a biometric entry-exit system, by adding six new ports of entry and deleting two that were incorrectly included in the initial rollout, which began on January 5, 2004.
