Coast Guard Proposes Changes to Bridge Operation Regulation in Louisiana

The US Coast Guard is proposing a new regulation for the operation of the State Route 319 bridge across the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway in Louisiana, replacing the current low-level swing bridge with a new high-level, double-leaf bascule bridge.
