Coast Guard Proposes Temporary Security Zone for 2005 Presidential Inauguration

The US Coast Guard plans to create a temporary security zone along the Potomac and Anacosta Rivers in Washington, DC and surrounding areas from January 14 to January 25, 2005, to protect high-ranking officials and spectators from potential terrorist threats during the Presidential Inauguration events.
