Waiver of Training for State or Local Law Enforcement Officers Authorized to Enforce Immigration Law During a Mass Influx of Aliens

The Department of Justice is amending regulations to allow the Attorney General to waive training requirements for law enforcement officers responding to a mass influx of aliens, in cases where public safety, health, or national security is at risk.
