United States Sues Gemstar-TV Guide International and TV Guide for Patent Infringement

The US Department of Justice has filed a lawsuit against Gemstar-TV Guide International, Inc. and TV Guide, Inc., alleging that the companies have infringed on a patent related to electronic program guides, which are used to display TV listings and schedules.
