US Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for East Fredericktown Project in Missouri

The US Forest Service plans to prepare an environmental impact statement (EIS) for the East Fredericktown project in the Mark Twain National Forest, Missouri, to assess the environmental effects of proposed land management activities. The project area spans over 100,000 acres across Ste. Genevieve and Bollinger counties, and the EIS will consider alternatives to minimize environmental impacts.
