Canada Added to BSE-Infected Regions List Due to Recent Disease Detection

The US is amending its regulations to include Canada in the list of regions where bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) has been detected, in response to the recent detection of the disease in an animal in Canada, in order to prevent the introduction of BSE into the US.
