Secretary of Agriculture Determines Primary Purpose of Cost-Share Payments Under Forest Land Enhancement Program

The Secretary of Agriculture has determined that cost-share payments made to individuals under the Forest Land Enhancement Program are primarily for conserving soil and water resources, protecting the environment, and improving forests, allowing recipients to exclude certain payments from federal income tax.
