Delay of Independent Contractor Rule Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) Extended to May 7, 2021

The Department of Labor has finalized a proposal to delay the effective date of the Independent Contractor Rule, originally set for January 2021, until May 7, 2021, to allow for a review of issues raised by the rule.
