FSIS to Host Workshops for Small and Very Small Plants on Listeria Monocytogenes Regulations

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) will host five workshops from September to October 2003 to assist small and very small plants in complying with the new Listeria monocytogenes regulations, which take effect on October 6, 2003. The workshops will focus on addressing key elements of the implementation and provide an opportunity for questions and information seeking.
