USDA Forest Service Exempts Big Hole Timber Sale from Environmental Impact Statement
The US Department of Agriculture's Forest Service has decided not to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Big Hole Timber Sale in the Teton Basin Ranger District, Teton County, Idaho, due to the final disposition of the Roadless Area Conservation Rule in 2003. This decision affects proposed fuel reduction treatments in urban interface areas within the boundary of the Garns Mountain Roadless Area.
