NRCS to Issue Revised Conservation Practice Standards in National Handbook of Conservation Practices

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is proposing changes to its National Handbook of Conservation Practices, which will include new or revised standards for irrigation water management, salinity and sodic soil management, silvopasture establishment, vertical drain, and well water testing. These updated standards will guide state conservationists and directors in developing field office technical guides for use in states and regions affected by the Pacific Basin and Caribbean Areas.
