US Department of State Certifies Venezuela's Sea Turtle Conservation Program, Withdraws Certification for Trinidad and Tobago and Panama

The US Department of State certified Venezuela's program to reduce sea turtle incidental capture in its shrimp fisheries, comparable to the US program, on December 21, 2004. The department withdrew certification for Trinidad and Tobago and Panama due to their non-comparable programs.
