Final Rule Establishes SEVIS Verification and Reporting Procedures for Foreign Students and Exchange Visitors

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has finalized the regulations for foreign students and exchange visitors entering the country on F, M, or J nonimmigrant visas, requiring the use of the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) for verification and reporting purposes.
