U.S. Government Approves Importation of Cultural Objects for Exhibition at J. Paul Getty Museum

The U.S. government has determined that a collection of oil sketches by Italian artist Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, imported from abroad for a temporary exhibition at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, California, are of cultural significance and in the national interest, from May 3 to September 4, 2005.
