IRS Cancels Public Hearing on Proposed Regulations for Accounting Method Changes

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has cancelled a public hearing on proposed regulations under sections 263A and 448 of the Internal Revenue Code, which aim to simplify the adjustment period for taxpayers changing their accounting methods, in line with IRS general guidance on method changes.
