Delay of Effective Date for Tip Regulations Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)

The U.S. Department of Labor has delayed the effective date of three portions of the 2020 Tip final rule under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), allowing more time to complete separate rulemaking processes. The remaining portions of the rule will take effect on April 30, 2021.
