MSHA Grants Exception to Mathies Mine for Compliance with Mine Act

The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) has granted an exception to the Mathies Mine, allowing it to deviate from certain mandatory safety standards under the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 (Mine Act).
