MSHA Final Rule Removes Application Requirement for Sanitary Toilets in Coal Mines

The U.S. Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) has issued a final rule eliminating the need for applications and paperwork for approval of sanitary toilets in underground and surface coal mines, while maintaining the existing sanitation standards based on the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards.
