U.S. Labor Department Requests Public Comments on Labor Rights in Australia and Its Laws Governing Exploitative Child Labor
The Bureau of International Labor Affairs is seeking public comments on labor rights in Australia and its laws governing exploitative child labor. The comments will help inform reports on the issue, as required by the Trade Act of 2002, which mandates reports on labor rights and other issues when the President intends to use trade promotion authority procedures in connection with legislation approving and implementing a trade agreement.
