SBA Implements Direct Wage Garnishment Rule Under Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996

The Small Business Administration (SBA) has implemented a new rule allowing direct wage garnishment for non-tax debts, without needing a court order, in accordance with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996. This rule also expands SBA's hearing and appeals regulations to cover administrative wage garnishment cases.
