Boeing Proposes Special Conditions for 747-100/200B/200F/200C/SR/SP/100B SUD/400/400D/400F Airplanes with Flammability Reduction System

Boeing is proposing special conditions for its 747-100/200B/200F/200C/SR/SP/100B SUD/400/400D/400F airplanes to incorporate a new flammability reduction system, which aims to minimize the risk of fire by reducing oxygen content in the fuel tank. The proposed conditions are intended to ensure an acceptable level of safety for the installation of the system and define performance objectives to minimize flammable vapors.
