BP Exploration (Alaska), Inc. Granted Authorization to Take Marine Mammals in Beaufort Sea

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has issued a letter of authorization to BP Exploration (Alaska), Inc. to take marine mammals incidental to the production of offshore oil and gas at the Northstar development in the Beaufort Sea, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) and implementing regulations.
