Federal Government Seeks Public Comments on Pipeline Safety Regulation Renewal
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is requesting public participation in the renewal of an existing pipeline safety regulation, which requires hazardous liquid pipeline operators to follow certain protocols in high consequence areas, as part of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 and 5 CFR part 1320. The public has an additional 30 days to submit comments on this regulation, which was previously published in the Federal Register on September 9, 2003, and was initially open for public comment from December 1, 2000.
