U.S. Department of Energy to Grant Exclusive or Partially Exclusive Patent License for Mercury Removal Technology

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has announced its intent to grant an exclusive or partially exclusive patent license to Powerspan Corporation for the use of a mercury removal method from gas streams, as described in U.S. patent 6,567,092. The proposed license will be subject to certain conditions and may be revoked if objections are received within 15 days from the publication of this notice.
