FHWA Proposes Updates to Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Regulations

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is proposing changes to the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (Uniform Act) regulations, which have not been updated since 1989, to improve the service to individuals and businesses affected by Federal or federally-assisted projects and reduce government regulations. The proposed changes will affect 18 Federal Agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security, and will be discussed at public meetings.
