US Proposes Changes to Fruits and Vegetables Import Regulations

The US government is proposing to amend its regulations to allow the importation of certain fruits and vegetables from around the world, subject to inspection and treatment at the port of entry, in an effort to increase the variety of produce available while preventing the introduction of quarantine pests.
