EPA Finalizes Revised Policy on Safe Drinking Water Act for Submetered Properties

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has revised its policy under the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to clarify the applicability of the law to submetered properties, which are buildings where tenants pay separately for water usage. The new policy aims to promote full cost and conservation pricing to achieve water conservation while ensuring the quality of water provided to customers remains unchanged.
