EPA Proposes Administrative Cost Recovery Settlement for Old Colony Railroad Superfund Site

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking public comments on a proposed administrative settlement for the Old Colony Railroad Superfund Site in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. The settlement, based on the inability-to-pay, involves the EPA gaining access to site property for further investigation and response actions, as well as the placement of institutional controls, in exchange for a covenant not to sue the settling parties.
