U.S. Maritime Administration Requests Public Comment on Administrative Waiver of Coastwise Trade Laws

The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) is seeking public comment on a request for an administrative waiver of the U.S.-build requirement of the coastwise laws, which would allow a vessel to operate without meeting this requirement. Comments can be submitted online at http://dms.dot.gov and must reference the docket number and vessel name to ensure consideration.
