The Farm Credit Administration (FCA or agency) provides, in this notice, the guidance that the Farm Credit System (FCS or System) requested about the regulatory treatment of syndicated loans to eligible borrowers. This notice also reaffirms FCA's longstanding interpretation that syndicated loans to eligible borrowers come within System banks' and associations' lending powers, not their loan participation authorities.
