Nuclear Regulatory Commission Confirms Effective Date for Direct Final Rule on Spent Fuel Storage Casks

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed the effective date of February 3, 2003, for a direct final rule that amended the NRC's regulations to include the Pacific Sierra Nuclear Associates VSC-24 system listing in the List of approved spent fuel storage casks.
