Nuclear Regulatory Commission Extends Comment Period for Risk-Informed Categorization Rule

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has extended the comment period for its proposed rule on risk-informed categorization and treatment of structures, systems, and components for nuclear power plants by 30 days, following a request from the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI).
