Nuclear Regulatory Commission Issues Bulletin to PWR Operators Regarding Reactor Pressure Vessel Lower Head Penetrations and Reactor Coolant Pressure Boundary Integrity

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a bulletin to operating license holders of pressurized-water nuclear power reactors with penetrations in the lower head of the reactor pressure vessel, requiring them to supplement current inspection methods and provide information on RPV lower head penetrations and reactor coolant pressure boundary integrity.
