NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo Cars

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has received a petition from a company requesting a decision that 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo passenger cars, which do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, can be imported into the US due to their similarity to previously certified vehicles and their ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
