NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming 2001 Chevrolet Blazer Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced receipt of a petition from a company requesting a decision that 2001 Chevrolet Blazer vehicles, which do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, can be imported into the US due to their similarity to US-certified vehicles and their ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
