Proposal to Revise Method for Estimation of Monthly Labor Force Statistics for Certain Subnational Areas; Request for Comments

The Department of Labor is seeking public comments on a proposal to revise the method for estimating monthly labor force statistics for certain subnational areas, with the goal of improving the accuracy of State and local area labor force statistics. The proposed changes will be implemented starting January 2005, with updated estimates to be published in March 2005.
