Federal Acquisition Regulation to Allow Photocopies of Power of Attorney for Bid Bonds

The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council are proposing to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation to accept photocopies of original power of attorney documents as sufficient evidence for bid bonds, shifting the responsibility for authenticity to the bidder.
