US Patent Office Revises Patent Term Extension and Adjustment Rules

The US Patent and Trademark Office is updating its rules to clarify when a patent term extension or adjustment can be granted, following a review by the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences or a Federal court, and a reversal of an adverse patentability determination.
