Extension Request for Flammability Standard for Mattresses and Mattress Pads

The Consumer Product Safety Commission is seeking an extension of approval for information collection requirements in the Standard for the Flammability of Mattresses and Mattress Pads, which aims to reduce burn injuries and deaths from mattress fires. The Commission has submitted a request to the Office of Management and Budget for an extension of approval, following a notice published in the Federal Register on May 14, 2004.
