FDA Proposes Registration of Food Facilities Under Bioterrorism Act

The FDA is proposing a regulation requiring domestic and foreign food facilities to register with the agency by December 12, 2003, to enhance the country's preparedness for a potential terrorist attack on the food supply and facilitate swift response to food-borne illness outbreaks.
