FDA Releases Guidance on Integration of Dose-Counting Mechanisms into Metered-Dose Inhaler Drug Products

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has made available a guidance document to help pharmaceutical manufacturers develop or update metered-dose inhaler (MDI) drug products with accurate dose-counting mechanisms, a requirement for certain inhalation medications.
